His craftsmanship has created legendary instruments like the New York Groove Flashers, UFO Guitars, and notably, the widely recognized smoking Gibson Les Paul.

In a groundbreaking move, Cara’s expertise takes center stage in Ace’s latest music video, “10,000 Volts.” Both Cara’s New York Groove Guitar and the Fire Safe Compliant Smoker feature prominently. In an era where pyrotechnics face strict regulations under the Homeland Security Act, Ace’s smokers have been utilizing proprietary water-based smoke devices, a technological leap that has circumvented legal barriers for over a decade.

Following the passing of Steve Carr and the retirement of John “Ampy” Robison, Cara seamlessly stepped into the role of Frehley’s main conversion expert, earning credit and recognition from Ace himself in numerous publications and interviews.
